In this episode, the finale of the season, House has to deal with a patient who seems to have two entirely separate personalities—a strange occurrence put down to the fact that the two hemispheres of his brain seem to operate independently of each other. A curious episode around a fascinating medical disorder. Locked in with Locked in Syndrome: episode 19 of season 5. This episode of House sees House himself become the patient. House, injured in a motorcycle accident, is admitted as a patient, and is placed next to man the others believe is brain-dead, but whom house thinks is suffering from total paralysis, and is ‘locked in’ his own body. An extremely gripping episode.
